Matt Milletto is a leading figure in the specialty coffee industry with over 25 years of experience. As Vice President of Bellissimo Coffee Advisors and a driving force behind Online Barista Training, Matt has dedicated his career to coffee education and business consulting.

Matt is the co-founder of Water Avenue Coffee, a renowned specialty coffee roaster and cafe in Portland, Oregon generating over $3M in annual revenue. He is also the founder of Barista Exchange, one of the world's largest online communities for coffee professionals with over 18,000 members.

Beyond coffee, Matt is the co-founder of Vehicle Mushrooms, a functional mushroom company. He is a Past President of the Oregon Coffee Board and continues to serve on the board, has been an active member of the Specialty Coffee Association for decades, and gives his time to Dollar For and the Headwaters Council of the Freshwater Trust.

Matt has consulted for hundreds of coffee businesses around the world and has trained thousands of baristas. His practical, no-nonsense approach to coffee education is the foundation of the OBT curriculum.

Bruce Milletto is a pioneer of the specialty coffee industry and co-founder of Bellissimo Coffee Advisors (formerly American Barista & Coffee School). The Specialty Coffee Association named him one of its “20 Coffee Luminaries”, and Gourmet Retailer included him on its 25th-anniversary list of 25 industry-shaping individuals.

Bruce's expertise has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Newsweek, 60 Minutes, Kiplinger's, Forbes, The Economist, Harvard Management Update, Crain's Business Review, Seattle Times, Washington Post, Business Week, and Entrepreneur. He served as a columnist for Fresh Cup Magazine, one of the coffee industry's most respected trade publications, and his commentary continues to inform the Starbucks Annual Report and other industry benchmarks.

Over his career spanning more than three decades, Bruce has helped thousands of entrepreneurs open and operate successful coffee businesses. His deep understanding of the coffee industry — from sourcing and roasting to retail operations and training — has shaped how coffee education is delivered worldwide.
